Make A Decision, Brett

Who was the oldest player to ever play in the National Football League? Brett Favre. Brett had been on four different teams in his career but one nobody really remembers. In his first game he played as an Atlanta Falcon. His fist pass was a touchdown….. to the other team. He threw an interception in his first NFL game as a starter. The Packers picked him up and that’s when he became a star. He passed four records in a Green Bay uniform, but then he retired. Or so we thought. Brett couldn’t make up his mind but in the end he decided to play. Ted Thompson said that he wasn’t going to let Favre come back to play in Green Bay if he wasn’t sure enough if he wanted to commit to the Green Bay Packers. Fans were devastated, but Ted didn’t care. After all this commotion, Favre got picked up by the New York Jets. They had been trying to find a quarterback, and when a player with Brett Favre’s caliber, they couldn’t say no. He played two years in New York. When the Jets drafted Mark Sanchez out of USC, they decided to drop Brett. Just when the Minnesota Vikings needed a quarterback the most, they saw Brett on the market, and went ahead and put in an offer for Brett Favre. He decided to accept the Vikings offer. Who would’ve ever thought, with his past with the Packers, that he would ever end up in Minnesota? Anyways, that’s where he finished his magnificent career.
