Finding Henri

Author's Note: This is my second and updated conflict/resolution piece on the book I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore.

I am Number Four  is a book about a boy from a Lorien who travels to Earth when his planet is attacked by beasts from another planet, Mogadore.  When he lands on Earth, it is all hiding from there. The Mogadorians are trying to hunt John down and kill him, so he has to be ready to leave his home at all times. During the story, there has been a “rumor” about aliens from another planet attacking Earth and its resources, and that could mean trouble for Henri and John. When Henri calls and they hang up right away, he gets suspicious and travels to the address he found online. It was trouble from there. When John shows up to save Henri, he can’t do it without a fight. There are three men there trying to attack him, and he must fight back. This conflict is a Person vs. Person, because it is John against the three other guys.

The conflict eventually is solved when John  and Sam show up and fight the three guys trying to keep Henri in their basement. They fight until one of the three men pulls a gun on John. When he fires, John uses his telekinesis to stop the bullet in mid-air and throw it back at him. He dodges it, and John pushes him over into a pole knocking him out. Another runs away, and the other goes upstairs. John follows him up after untying Henri, and kills him. That solved the Person Vs person conflict in this story.
